DESIGN ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants re preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, mechanics of materials, and steel design

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and technical drawings using design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor,
  Fusion 360)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, R&D, sales, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility,
  manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness
• Responsible for the conceptualization, design, analysis, and detailing of steel structures and components for various fabrication projects
• Develop detailed designs and layouts for steel structures, including beams, columns, trusses, connections, and other fabricated components,
  utilizing engineering software and design principles
• Produce comprehensive fabrication and erection drawings (shop drawings) using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SolidWorks)
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), cutting lists, and other necessary documentation for manufacturing.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues, perform design reviews, and implement design changes as required throughout the project lifecycle.
• Advise on appropriate material selection for steel components, considering strength, durability, cost, and project-specific requirements.
