CARPENTER
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related work experience in carpentry, including framing, installation, and finishing.
- Performs essential carpentry tasks required in the construction and renovation of housing units.
Responsibilities:
- Constructs, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter’s hand tools and power tools.
- Follows blueprints, building plans, and sketches to meet the needs of clients.
- Measures, cuts, and shapes wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
