Cost Accountant

Qualifications:

• Should have a Degree in Business Administration or Commerce major in accounting
• CPA and be eligible to be registered as a member with Papua New Guinea Institute of Accountants.
• Must have at least 5 years work experience as an accountant in a manufacturing plant or factory with emphasis in cost accounting, budgeting,
  audit and systems and procedures review.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Able to communicate at all levels. Good command of both written and spoken
  English.

Responsibilities:

• Review and monitor accounting and related Develops professional capability through on-the-job-training and staff training programs as required by Labour Department and Industrial Relations.
• Carry out other responsibility and perform duties as assigned within Lae Biscuit Group of Companies
• Work closely and report direct to the Chief Accountant.
• Carry out relevant duties as assigned by the Financial Controller & Policy & Planning Manager.
• Review and monitor accounting and related systems in the factory for control and efficiency purposes;
• Perform other delegated duties as required.
