Auto Electrical Specialist

Qualifications:

  • Tradesman qualification in Automotive Electrical or related field.
  • Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge in Electrical, Automotive & Suspension systems
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Responsibilities:

  •  Repair and troubleshoot brake and suspension systems.
  • Supervise & assist other employees to diagnose and resolve vehicle problems
  • Train employees in coordination with the Workshop Manager.
  • Able to use & install Electrical Diagnostic Equipment.
  • Able to perform Control module programming using diagnostic tooling.
  • Able to read and understand the wiring Diagram with various Equipment.
  • Able to inspect, test and service charging system.
  • Carry out diagnostic procedures in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic body management system.
  • Diagnose and repair Automotive Electrical system.
  • Compliance with all SH & E policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Following instructions and rules to prevent accidents and taking personal accountability for own safety and at all times being aware of the
    impact of actions on the safety of others
  • Participating and contributing to the effectiveness of safety activities
  • Immediately reporting and injury, incident or “near miss “encountered during the course of work
  • Assisting other employees in carrying out these responsibilities by support and example
