Project Accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years’ related experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of local tax law
• Experience with JD Edwards Accounting Software
• Professional Certification (CA or CPA)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable
• Ensure the completion of all accounting and administrative documents
• Manage administration of petty cash
• Review job cost activity
• Preparation of financial statements
• Perform month-end close
• Manage Accounting Assistants
• Coordinate with local managers, vendors and bank
• Communicate regularly with Finance and Administration Manager to report up to date information

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
