Mechanical Equipment Assembler (PUMP TECHNICIAN)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Vocational Course related to Mechanical, Mechanical Technology or any other related field. with TESDA NC2 for Mechanical
- Preferred Minimum of 3 years with proven experience as a Pump Technician. Familiarity with API 675 and 674 standards.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in pump assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Assemble pumps according to Engineering specifications.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure precise and secure assembly.
- Inspect and verify components for quality and conformity before assembly
- Set up and operate the pump test bench to perform test on assembled pumps.
- Conduct tests in accordance with API 675 and 674 standards to ensure pumps meet required performance criteria.
- Monitor test parameters, record data and interpret test results.
- Identify and address any defects or issues during the assembly and testing process.
- Work closely quality control teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Document test results and prepare detailed reports for review.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment and tools
- Ensure the test bench and assembly area are kept clean and organized
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations
