Accountant Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
• Good command of English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in international business or multi-currency transactions Knowledge of Papua New Guinea tax and financial regulations (if applicable)
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor bank transactions and reconcile bank statements
• Prepare and process payment transactions, including payroll, vendor payments, and tax filings
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws
• Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insight
