Job Vacancy: Housekeeping Attendant

Housekeeping Attendant
Qualifications:
- Ideally with a relevant diploma or professional certification in Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience in hotel operations.
- Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Delivers the brand promise and provides exceptional guest service at all times.
- Provides excellent service to internal customers as appropriate.
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner; feedbacks guest complaints to Team Leader/Assistant Manager – Housekeeping promptly.
- Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Operational:
- Ensures all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
- Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.
- Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.
- Checks and verifies room status report.
- Records and completes the Attendant’s Verification Report accurately.
- Reports room defects.
- Reports lost and damaged items.
- Cleans and make-up guest rooms.
- Empties soiled linen.
- Cleans and tidies the pantry and toilet.
- Maintains the cleanliness of corridors and surrounding back areas.
- Cleans and packs the trolley.
- Checks and cleans operating equipment.
- Change light bulbs in the room.
- Refreshed flowers set in the guest room
- Provides night turndown service.
- Updates room status via telephone interface system.
Other Duties:
- Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required.
- Exercises responsible behavior at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt International.
- Read the hotel’s Associate Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Responds to changes in the Housekeeping functions as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
- Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
