Welder

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of work experience.
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Drivers license is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment.
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
