JR. SOUS CHEF

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Culinary or related field.
• 4-5 years as a Jr. Sous Chef.
• Proficient in cooking methods, equipment, and food safety.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, and work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office and HACCP standards.
• Knowledge in forecasting and ordering raw materials.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in directing staff and ensuring the production of high-quality, efficient, and hygienic meals according to established standards and customer specifications.
• Organize and assist staff with daily production tasks.
• Ensure high standards of gastronomy, hygiene, and food safety in coordination with the Sous Chef.
• Order raw materials and check food specifications and quality.
• Support food development, menu planning, and recipe testing.
• Supervise staff hygiene and maintain high morale.
• Ensure smooth shift changes and monitor daily production for efficiency.
• Assist in stocktaking, ordering, and managing raw materials.
• Train staff on new technologies and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and temperature control standards.
• Report any issues with equipment or products to the Sous Chef.
• Assist in staff training, promotions, and Saudization programs.

• Valid Passport
