Technician of Power & Rigging

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • With critical thinking and methodological approach
  • Experience & knowledge in power, electricity, chains, motor chains, hoists
  • A reliable go-to-person with great time management skills
  • Proactive thinking and the ability to take the initiative when needed
  • Basic knowledge of AV solutions, 1 year experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal English language skills

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and managing the electrical power distribution systems, including generators, power cables, and distribution panels to ensure that all equipment has the necessary power supply.
  • Installing and securing all rigging equipment, such as trusses, hoists, and rigging hardware used to support lighting, audio, and video equipment.
  • Diagnosing technical issues remotely
  • Performing load calculations to determine the weight and balance of equipment being rigged, ensuring that structures can support the necessary loads without risk.
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting on technical projects
  • Operating rigging and hoisting equipment during events to raise and lower lighting, speakers, and other gear as needed.
  • Doing technical designs, drafting, and venues layout
