TANK WELDER SMAW

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform set-up, preparation, hammering, joining, and full welding of tanks using SMAW techniques. This includes handling other equipment such as drilling, spot welding, TIG welding, and cut-off machines
  • Perform welding in 3G (vertical), 4G (overhead), and 6G (45-degree inclined) positions using SMAW techniques
  • Handle additional equipment such as drilling, spot welding, TIG welding, and cut-off machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and specifications
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Proficiency in SMAW and TIG welding, particularly in 3G, 4G, and 6G positions
