Cable Extruder Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation is a plus.
• Proven experience operating cable extrusion or similar manufacturing machines.
• Knowledge of extrusion processes, materials, and machine controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications
• Experience in cable manufacturing or wire processing industry for 5 year plus
• Familiarity with different types of insulation and sheathing materials

Responsibilities:

•  Set up and operate cable extrusion machines according to production schedules and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Inspect finished cables for quality, ensuring they meet specified dimensions, color, and insulation requirements.
• Load raw materials (e.g., copper conductors, insulation compounds) into the machine and monitor material usage
