Workshop Fabrication Supervisor

Qualifications:

• 8 years’ experience in oil and gas, petrochemical industry, power energy in the fabrication or Welding Field
• Higher National Diploma in Engineering
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Strong computer literate (MS Office)
• Knowledge in Welding Codes
• Capable to conduct TBT & Hazard Identifications

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the welding and fabrication activities of the Fabrication Workshop with optimum utilization of resources to ensure safety and, execution of fabrication and welding activities for the division.
• Ensure that welding and fabrication activities are delivered in accordance with international standard & codes as per WPS and the company standards & specifications.
• Ensure welding consumables are used and stored as per the company standards & specifications.
• Track the fabrication & welding activities in meeting the biweekly schedule.
• Coordinate the welding & fabrication activities during Normal Operations and in Shutdown, quality, and safety of execution.
• Check the fabrication equipment, welding machines are maintained and tested periodically to meet the company standards and inspection requirement.
• Ensure the welding gas cylinders are stored and used as per the company standards & specifications.
• Provide effective toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for all activities.
• Ensure fabrication materials are used without wastage & remaining unused materials are returned to warehouse with necessary documentation.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
