Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform routine maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems and equipment, including turbines, pumps, compressors, motors, heat exchangers, and conveyors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a preventive maintenance program for mechanical equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained according to manufacturer recommendations and operational requirements.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical improvements, upgrades, and modifications to enhance plant efficiency and safety.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure all mechanical maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, plant policies, and industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of mechanical maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, replacements, and modifications.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams, operators, and technical staff to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance activities and plant operations.
  • Participate in emergency troubleshooting and repair efforts during equipment breakdowns or system failures, ensuring rapid restoration of plant functions.
