Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on power plant equipment, including turbines, generators, pumps, compressors, motors, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid unscheduled downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system faults using diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as required, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and testing before operation.
• Adhere to all plant safety protocols, guidelines, and standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, equipment condition, parts used, and service reports.
• Work closely with engineers, operators, and other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance tasks and plant operations.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, including equipment failures or system breakdowns, to minimize downtime and restore plant functions as efficiently as possible.
