TITP AND SSW CAREWORKER

Qualifications

  • For first time TITP Careworker applicant: passer of N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test and must have NC2 in Caregiving or graduate of Medical related course
  • For first time SSW Carewworker applicant: passer of N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test and passed the Prometric Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Tests (for Skills & Language categories)
  • For Ex-Japan Technical Trainee who will apply for SSW Careworker (provided under the same industry): must present a Caregiving Training Certificate and Senmonkyuu Kaigo Exam Result

Responsibilities

  • Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
  • Serves meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and may assist in preparing meals following preplanned menus.
  • Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids while respecting the resident’s right to free choice and records and reports changes in resident’s eating habits to the supervisor
