Hotel Manager

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar supervisory role in a boutique hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on training, motivation, and creating a positive working environment.
• Exceptional guest service skills, with an ability to understand and meet the needs of diverse clientele, including international guests.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, ensuring that both guests and employees are satisfied.
• Awareness and respect for local customs, traditions, and values in Papua New Guinea, ensuring cultural integration in hotel services and operations.
• Flexible and can handle many task such as reservations, sales & marketing, accounting and F&B.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and managing hotel profitability

Responsibilities:

• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by managing guest services, handling complaints, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
• Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff, ensuring they provide excellent service, foster a positive work environment, and maintain the boutique hotel’s standards.
• Oversee the hotel’s financial performance, including budgeting, monitoring revenues and expenses, and managing room rates to ensure profitability.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly, rooms and facilities are well-maintained, and staff adhere to operational procedures.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel, build partnerships with travel agents, and enhance the hotel’s visibility to attract guests.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Free economy class ticket from PNG to Manila once per year.

• One month annual leave after 12 months of continuous service
