IT Project Manager

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT, software development, or consulting industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Certification in project management would be highly desirable.
• Experience in managing IT, software development, or digital transformation projects.
• Certification in PMP or Prince2.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Strong data analysis skills using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proficiency in change management and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with remote team management and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Project Execution: Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects according to plan. Assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure successful delivery.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to ensure project success.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and best practices to ensure that deliverables meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, using structured change management processes.
• Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, meeting minutes, and postimplementation reviews.
• Team Leadership: Motivate and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Provide mentoring and support to junior team members.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and document lessons learned for future projects
