Technical Business Analyst
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and querying databases.
- Familiarity with API integrations, data flows, and system architecture.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, GLPI, Trello).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements from stakeholders to support software development projects.
- Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure that solutions are aligned with business needs.
- Analyze existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct gap analysis to evaluate current vs. future state and recommend technical solutions.
- Develop process flow diagrams, data models, and technical documentation to support solution design.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and brainstorming sessions with stakeholders to clarify requirements and set priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Perform data analysis using tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Excel to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases, coordinating testing efforts, and capturing feedback.
- Assist in the development of user manuals, training materials, and end-user training sessions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
