Diesel and Heavy Machinery Shop Manager

Qualifications:

• Preferred Certified Cummins Engine and Allison Automatic Transmission
• Technician (must provide related official factory certifications)
• Thermo King refrigeration training also helpful
• Minimum 5 Years Working Experience as a Manager at Diesel Shop
• Must have a valid driver’s license and able to operate manual transmission vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the diesel and heavy machinery shop, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring efficient work, proper training, and adherence to safety protocols
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction with repair and maintenance services
• Supervise diagnostic and repair processes for diesel engines, transmissions, and machinery components
• Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring necessary resources are available and maintaining equipment
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
