Line Cook (Continental / Italian)

Qualifications:

• For male only
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food to the exact company standard specifications and to set up stations for menu.
• Line cook duties will consist of assisting the sous chef with their daily tasks
• Will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards of the company.
• Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes.
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station. Stock inventory appropriately
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-worker’s
• Food preparation and portioning prior to service.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen.
