ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications:

• Freshly qualified CPA or ACCA.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of plant accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for the plant.
• Monitor and report on plant costs, variances, and budget performance.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Collaborate with operations management to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Support the month-end closing process by ensuring timely and accurate entries.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation calculations.
• Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and integrity.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
