Foreman – Heavy Equipment

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate with relevant professional certifications; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the related position.
• Must have strong knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repair procedures of all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• GCC experiences preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications for record-keeping and reporting; experience in ERP systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting of the following cranes Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other components, ensuring maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently by reviewing and approving system-generated work orders.
• Manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and maintenance staff for the effective execution of a comprehensive maintenance program by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring employees’ performance.
• Provide training and mentorship to maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance.
• Control costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.
• Review and approve completed work orders and associated paperwork including parts orders, estimates, invoices, and delivery notes in a timely manner.
• Work closely with workshop supervisors and engineers to plan and execute routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance for heavy equipment, following inspection and service operations in alignment with standards and checklists.
• Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Receive verbal or written work instructions with clear information and work methods, discussing drawing details as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, diagnose faults, and recommend necessary repairs, ensuring equipment and vehicles remain in good condition.
• Provide input to equipment owners regarding the maintenance impact on all types of in-house equipment.
• Visit sites to review work to be performed, determining the composition and size of work groups required for each task based on priorities.
• Maintain a complete chronological maintenance history for each piece of equipment.
• Ensure that hazardous materials such as paints, lube oil, and oxygen/acetylene bottles are stored appropriately, with users fully aware of safety data sheets.
• Ensure full compliance with safety goals, objectives, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
