Our employer Jash Technical Services is in need of the following:

AIRFIELD STANDARD

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Bachelor’s Degree: Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering
• Experience in airfield operations, design, or maintenance.
• At least three years of this experience at Airports
• Professional Certifications are advantage: Certified Member (C.M.), ICAO Airport Planning and Design Certificate, Pavement Management Certification, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of international and national airfield standards, including those set by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization and other relevant authorities
• Understanding of the technical specifications for airfield infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting systems, markings, and signage
• Knowledge of airfield pavement design, construction, and maintenance standards, including materials, structural integrity, and load-bearing capacity
• Familiarity with safety management principles as they apply to airfield operations, including risk assessment and safety performance metrics
• Awareness of environmental regulations and sustainability practices related to airfield operations, such as wildlife management, pollution control, and energy efficiency
• Expertise in ensuring that all aspects of airfield design, construction, and operations comply with relevant aviation standards and regulations
• Ability to provide expert advice on airfield design, construction, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with the latest standards and best practices
• Proficiency in conducting audits and inspections of airfield facilities to ensure compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement
• Experience in participating in or leading the development of new or revised airfield standards, including collaboration with regulatory bodies and industry groups
• Skills in developing and delivering training programs on airfield standards, regulations, and best practices to airport staff and stakeholders
• Expertise in supporting airfield projects from a standards perspective, ensuring that all designs, materials, and construction methods meet or exceed regulatory requirements
