Assistant Events Designer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience in event planning or design, either through internships, coursework, or relevant projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools.
• Strong creative and artistic skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for aesthetics
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Events Design team to assist in the creation and development of event concepts, themes, and designs.
• Conduct research on the latest event design trends, innovative decor ideas, and new industry suppliers.
• Assist in preparing design proposals, mood boards, and presentations for clients.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source event decor elements, furniture, lighting, and other necessary materials.
• Assist in creating and managing event budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost- effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the Events Planning team to ensure seamless integration of design elements with event logistics and operations.
• Assist in the production of event design elements, such as signage, backdrops, centerpieces, and stage setups.
• Support the team in on-site event management, including setup, styling, and troubleshooting.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to design discussions, providing creative input and recommendations.
• Maintain an inventory of event design materials and props, ensuring their proper storage and organization
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event design, sharing knowledge and ideas with the team
