Vehicle/Car Tint Installer (Signwriter)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle and glass specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently on a project.
• Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
• Excellent attention to detail with preparation and spraying process
• Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
• Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
• Accomplish objectives effectively within timeframe given and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Signage Manufacture, Substrate preparation, Problem solving, Installation
• Cut graphics and applications of both vinyl and paint protection.
• Use appropriate computer software in order to create client specified designs.
• Assist in the design of custom artworks to apply vehicles, walls, windows, and other surfaces as per customer requirements.
• Discuss customers’ requirements and request for proposed designs and work, referring to sketches and written instruction.
• Apply designs to vehicles (wraps), walls, windows and other surfaces on site as required.
• Apply window tint or paint protection film to vehicles, residences, and commercial buildings.
• Assist in the continual improvement of the workshop to promote operational efficiency
• Understand and applies quality control techniques
• Performs work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment
• Apply workplace health and safety requirements, policies, and procedures
• Work efficiently in a team environment to help achieve a common goal.
• Ensure workplace is kept in a tidy state
