Heavy Machinery Operator

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Machinery Operator, specializing in tree/log cutter equipment.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining tree/log cutter machinery.
• Knowledge of forestry practices, safety protocols, and equipment functionality.
• Ability to interpret cutting plans and follow technical specifications.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to forestry and heavy equipment operations.
• Certification or training in operating tree/log cutter machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery, specifically tree/log cutter equipment, efficiently and safely.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines during cutting and clearing operations.
• Collaborate with forestry teams to determine cutting locations and project requirements.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of the tree/log cutter equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maneuver machinery to efficiently cut, trim, and process trees or logs according to project specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed for optimal efficiency.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and industry best practices in forestry operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth coordination during cutting operations.
