PLANNING MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role Managing QA/QC for a multi-disciplinary program.
• Professional Certificate of PMI or AACEi is a plus.
• A Master/post-graduation degree in a related field is preferred and will be an added advantage.
• Excellent Knowledge and experience of Planning and Controls tools and techniques.
• Strong awareness about Saudi and International Codes, relevant legislation and statutory compliance, safety regulations, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Work in close coordination with the Projects Controls team to ensure that ensure consistency, quality, effective project planning and controls function, and continuous improvement in accordance with Company’s Quality Management Plan
• Work in close coordination with the Project team to ensure all work is carried out efficiently, in a timely manner in line with the project master schedule. Project Initiation
• Review the initial scope statement and support the development of program
• Develop initial project budget phasing in accordance with provided cost estimates and in alignment with program / project master schedules.
• Provide planning inputs to tender documents before release for bidding.
• Technical evaluation of planning related items included within contractor/consultants bid submissions.
• Attend kick-off meetings for awarded projects and provide on-boarding sessions for Project Consultants and Contractors.
• Review and approve consultants/contractor’s execution plans and planning packages incorporating Progress Measurement Systems that will be used for monitoring progress and validation of progress payments.
• Attend progress meetings and monitor consultants/contractor’s performance and advise project team of any schedule or interface issues that may affect the scheduled completion of the project.
