Senior/Design Engineer – CAD/Civil 3D

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years work experience
• A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), or similar, relevant discipline, coupled with 8 years’ experience in urban design and development
• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, from small projects to medium sized projects especially subdivision design, Roads, pipeline, etc.
• Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling, and construction.

Responsibilities:

• We are actively seeking an individual who possesses advanced proficiency in Civil 3D. Candidates with additional expertise in 12D would be highly advantageous and align more closely with our project needs.
• Develop the design solutions for civil infrastructure projects
• Apply concept and detailed designs and technical solutions for also road and drainage design, pavement design, utility design, water, sewerage, site development, land development, and associate site investigations.
• Use a combination of standard and modified design methods/techniques to solve problems particularly using Civil 3D, AutoCAD.
• Act as Engineer to Contract when is required by Opus.
• Apply and follow up approvals from necessary agency/stakeholders.
• Support administration work for Survey, Design and Laboratory Team.
• Supervise Junior Civil Engineer
• Contribute to overall team/project communication plan with responsibility for discrete elements of that.
