CONVENTIONAL MACHINIST

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to set up conventional machine tools which includes but not limited to horizontal lathes, vertical turret lathes, horizontal & vertical boring mills, surface grinders, etc.
• Must be proficient in measuring tools, measuring to ten thousandth/inch
• Strong attention to detail and experience in advanced and detailed machining
• Comfortable with shift work arrangement

Responsibilities:

• Perform Conventional Machining (e.g. turning / grinding / milling) for engine parts repair
• Layouts, set-up and operating conventional machine tools as required
• Reading and interpreting engineered drawings, which includes but not limited to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Create simple to complex tooling when necessary
