PRODUCT INVENTORY ANALYST

Qualifications:

• Atleast 2 years work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role in a retail/sales departments
• Proven experience in product inventory or similar role and knowledgeable in Microsoft office
• With valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Facilitates daily activities and the ability to worker under pressure

Job Description:

Monitoring inventory levels:

• The inventory officer must keep track of the quantity of products available in the store and ensure that the levels are adequate to meet customer demand.

Ordering products:

• When inventory levels fall below a certain threshold, the inventory officer must place orders with suppliers to replenish the stock.

Receiving shipments:

• The inventory officer must receive and inspect shipments of products to ensure that they are in good condition and that the correct quantities have been received.

Stocking shelves:

• Once new products have been received, the inventory officer must ensure that they are properly stored and displayed on shelves.

Conducting inventory audits:

• The inventory officer must conduct periodic audits of the inventory to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.

Analysing sales data:

• The inventory officer must analyse sales data to determine which products are selling well and which are not, and adjust inventory levels accordingly.

Managing returns and exchanges:

• The inventory officer must handle returns and exchanges of products, and ensure that the inventory is updated accordingly.

Maintaining inventory records:

• The inventory officer must keep accurate records of all inventory transactions, including purchases, sales, and
  returns.

Communicating with other staff:

• The inventory officer must work closely with other staff members, such as sales associates and managers, to
  ensure that inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand.

Ensuring compliance:

• The inventory analyst must ensure that all inventory-related activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Au Bon Marche’s largest retail at Nambatu, re opened for business on Saturday 8th November 2003 after rebuilding its new outfit following a damaging earthquake and today includes 8 aisles and 9 checkout registers featuring several specialized services Bakery and Patisserie, Stationary Shop, Butchery, Delicatessen, Hot Food and Seafood section.
