DAIRY FARM WORKER

Qualifications:

  •  Graduate of BS Agriculture major in Animal Science or equivalent.
  • With at least 3 years and up experience working on a dairy farm.
  • Knowledge and skills in Farm and Basic Farm Maintenance
  • Experience working on a dairy farm.
  • Knowledge of dairy farm operations
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Preferably with dairy farm experience abroad (e.g. in New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Canada, Latin America)
  • Knows modern milking systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in daily operations of the dairy farm.
  • Feeding and caring for dairy cows and calves
  • Milking cows and monitoring milk production
  • Operating Milk equipment to milk cows.
  • Cleaning and maintaining farm facilities.
  • Performs general maintenance on dairy facilities.
  • Maintains sanitary conditions in all dairy facilities
  • Assisting in breeding and calving processes
  • Monitoring and maintaining herd health.
  • Treating and caring for sick cows.
  • Observes dairy cattle for any signs of sickness or disorders.
  • Operating Farm Tractors and equipment
  • Ensure that all farming and milking equipment is properly maintained.
  • Grass Maintenance

Requirements:

  • Updated CV
  • Passport Copy
  • COE (Certificate of Employment)
  • Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
