Global Talent Professionals in partnership with Omanfil is urgently looking for:

Forklift Mechanic

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience 5 years in forklift maintenance and repair.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to use specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to ensure proper functioning.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in forklifts.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulations and optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to schedule maintenance plans and execute repairs efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with heavy machinery.
