Network Administrator (Trading)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer science or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS)
• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications using VB.NET
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Understanding of networking protocols and security best practices
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure
• Configure and manage network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Manage VPNs, LANs, WANs, and wireless networks

Responsibilities

• Understanding how to use the POS system’s features and generate relevant reports is valuable.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to end users.
• Maintaining and updating software and hardware systems.
• Knowledge in Linux Server Administration (Redhat/ Centos).Windows Server, SQL Server, VBNet, Microsoft Exchange, ERP/POS System, Desktop
• Troubleshooting and Power Supply, Laser and Inkjet Printers Troubleshooting, can write code for computer program
• Co-ordinate with all managers to prepare guidelines and procedures to optimize use of all application programs.
• Back-up and storage of data, including off-site repositories to ensure information safe-keeping in case of catastrophe.
• Training of company staff at all levels in the appropriate use of computers and POS
• Development of special IT projects and system upgrades.
• Writing tailor-made programs for specific operational needs such as stock control, customer loyalty program, fastfood POS for menu.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users
• Strong knowledge of various POS software and hardware
• Set-up and maintenance of anti-virus, firewalls and encryption to ensure protection from external threats.
• Assigning and monitoring security access
• of all authorized users of the local network.
