Accountant
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of working experience as an Accountant or in a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- Mandatory requirement: Experience as a Manager in a Fine Dining Restaurant.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Must possess a passport with at least two and a half (2.5) years validity remaining.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and accounting documents.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Process journal entries, account adjustments, and financial reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with management regarding financial performance and reporting requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and company records.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls.
