CARPENTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years related carpentry experience.
- 40 years old and below.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial carpentry works.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other construction materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and finishing methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor and lifting tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, partitions, flooring, and other carpentry components.
- Perform finishing work and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
- Repair or replace damaged woodwork and structural components.
- Operate and maintain carpentry tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
- Complete assigned tasks within project schedules and deadlines.
