SUBMERGED ARC WELDING (SAW OPERATOR)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least High School Graduates.
• Experienced in SAW tractor operation, parameter setup, and boiler/tubular welding.
• Ability to read and interpret WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications).
• Knowledge of selecting proper filler materials and flux for welding operations.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willing to learn a new language and adapt to multicultural work environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing welding and industrial tasks safely.

Responsibilities:

• Operate SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) equipment and welding tractors efficiently and safely.
• Perform boiler and tubular welding according to technical specifications and project requirements.
• Set welding parameters and select appropriate filler materials and fluxes based on WPS guidelines.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, technical documents, and job instructions accurately.
• Inspect welded components to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report technical or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of welding tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company operational standards at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet project schedules and production targets.
