TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Truck Driver or similar driving role.
  • No minimum educational attainment required.
  • Must possess a valid passport with at least 2 years remaining validity.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and long-haul driving practices is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading tasks when required.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently while meeting delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company trucks to transport goods and cargo to assigned destinations.
  • Load and unload cargo while ensuring proper handling, balancing, and secure fastening.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects.
  • Follow all traffic laws, transport regulations, and company safety standards.
  • Plan efficient driving routes to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records including delivery documents, bills of lading, and trip logs.
  • Ensure cargo is delivered safely, on time, and in good condition.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding delivery status and route conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle.
