Electomech Pte Ltd is seeking skilled and reliable Automotive General Mechanics to join our team in Fiji. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are confident in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light and heavy vehicles, ensuring safety, performance, and reliability.
Mechanic Automotive General
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Automotive or related fields.
- Experience working with trucks, buses, trailers, and heavy equipment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel and petrol engine systems.
- Valid driver’s license required; heavy goods vehicle license is an advantage.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
- Physically fit, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities:
- Service, diagnose, and repair trucks, buses, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Work on diesel and petrol engine systems, ensuring proper performance and efficiency.
- Identify and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
- Repair or replace key components such as engines, brakes, clutches, suspensions, steering systems, cooling systems, and transmissions.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and operational safety.
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Perform tyre inspections, wheel alignments, battery checks, and lubrication services.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Follow all workshop safety procedures and quality standards.
