Asphalt Operator

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 3 yrs of related experience
• Proven experience operating asphalt paving equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade specifications.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and compaction methods.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of paving operations
• Equipment handling and troubleshooting skills
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Safety awareness
• Time management

Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt paving machines, rollers, and related equipment.
• Control material flow and machine settings to achieve proper thickness and compaction.
• Monitor temperature and consistency of asphalt mix.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Coordinate with crew members, supervisors, and truck drivers.
• Follow site plans, grade stakes, and project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
