COOK (Assistant Cook)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
• High School Graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred.
• Experience in BOH (Back-of-House) restaurant operations is required.
• Mixed experience in QSR, upper-casual restaurants, hotels, or fine dining is an advantage.
• Experience in Continental Cuisine is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in food production techniques, food safety, and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of food storage practices and cooking temperatures.
• Ability to control food wastage and manage inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking food according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas and equipment.
• Monitor proper food storage, handling, and temperature control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Control food wastage and maintain quality of ingredients and prepared meals.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and proper storage of supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers when necessary and help monitor kitchen stock levels.
• Report equipment issues and follow up on maintenance requests when needed.
• Handle unexpected kitchen situations and support smooth kitchen operations.
• Properly use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
