Florist & Plant Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Experience in flowers, plants, or retail preferred
  • Friendly, clean, and hardworking
  • Willing to learn and follow instructions

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare simple bouquets and wrap arrangements
  • Trim stems and remove damaged petals
  • Keep flowers fresh and properly stored
  • Assist with special orders and events
  • Water plants regularly and clean leaves
  • Remove dry/damaged parts and monitor plant health
  • Repot plants and refresh soil when needed
  • Prepare plants for display and sale
  • Arrange flowers and plants neatly for display
  • Change vase water and maintain freshness
  • Keep shop clean and organized daily
  • Restock wrapping materials, ribbons, and pots
  • Prepare and pack customer orders accurately
  • Attach cards and labels to orders
  • Assist with delivery preparation and checking
  • Welcome customers and help with selections
  • Answer basic plant care questions
  • Support simple sales tasks when needed
