ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN RELIABILITY

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants
  • Minimum 7 years experience
  • Must have an experienced in oil/gas or petrochemical.

Responsibilities:

  • Work Experience with HV and LV distribution systems, Power Transformers, MV Induction Motors, VFDs, UPS and Battery backed up systems.
  • Well versed with modern protection relays (Micom, Sepam) and switchgear protection schemes.
  • Previous experience on Alstom and Merlin Gerlin switchgear systems would be a plus.
  • Complete understanding of MV/LV Switchgear control schematics is mandatory with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Motors and Switchgears condition monitoring.
  • Well versed with Hazardous Area classification and selection of equipment.
  • Should be capable of developing PM plans and Job instructions in the assigned areas.
  • A working knowledge of PLC’s is a must.
  • Previous experience on Spares management would be an additional plus.
