Air-Conditioning Service Technician Senior for Rail Vehicle

The Rail Vehicle Air Conditioning Service Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of rail vehicle air conditioning and ventilation systems, including commissioning after repairs and upgrades. This role combines independent work on the vehicle and in the workshop with the obligation to comply with the quality and safety standards set by the manufacturer, operator and internal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Male, 25 to 45 years old
• Must have at least 2–3 years of experience in servicing air conditioning, refrigeration, or HVAC systems
• With experience working with rail vehicles, buses, or other mobile equipment is an advantage
• Ability to independently diagnose faults and read electrical diagrams and technical documentation
• Certification for working on electrical equipment and refrigerants (F-Gases), an advantage
• Graduate of vocational or higher education in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• After training, perform diagnostics of failures in air conditioning units of rolling stock.
• Perform maintenance (cleaning, leak check, filter replacement, refrigerant charging, electrical installation check).
• Perform repairs of mechanical, cooling and electrical parts of air conditioning equipment according to technical documentation.
• After training, put air conditioning systems into operation after repairs or modernizations and perform functional tests. In case of leaks, perform repair by soldering (after passing the test according to the relevant standard EN 13585).
• Keeps daily records of repairs
• Cooperates with the dispatcher in planning work
• Comply with regulations and safety.
