SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in scaffolding supervision within oil & gas, petrochemical, or major construction projects
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Others) or related discipline
- With valid TESDA NC II Certificate (Scaffolding)
- Must possess valid Third-Party Certification (e.g., TUV, Velosi, Bureau Veritas)
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards (OSHA, BS/EN, or equivalent international standards)
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of scaffolders to ensure safe and efficient work execution
- Plan, organize, and monitor scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure scaffolding stability, safety, and compliance with approved designs
- Ensure all scaffolding works comply with project specifications and international safety standards
- Maintain smooth communication and coordination between scaffolding teams, project management, clients, and on-site stakeholders
- Review and implement method statements, risk assessments, and work permits related to scaffolding activities
- Ensure proper tagging and certification of scaffolds before use
- Address and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to scaffolding operations
- Promote strict adherence to HSE policies and safe work practices
