Baker / Chocolatier

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Baker and/or Chocolatier
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and chocolate production methods
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts
  • Produce handmade chocolates, pralines, truffles, and chocolate decorations
  • Follow standard recipes while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Monitor baking and chocolate production processes to ensure consistency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and chocolate work areas
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Assist in developing new bakery and chocolate items
  • Monitor stock levels and proper storage of ingredients and finished products
  • Maintain bakery and chocolate equipment and report maintenance needs
