Laundry Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in laundry operations, preferably in hotels or large facilities
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and fabric care
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and staff
  • Ensure proper washing, drying, pressing, and handling of linens and garments
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure items are clean, well-presented, and undamaged
  • Maintain laundry equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Manage inventory of linens, uniforms, and laundry supplies
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
  • Train and guide laundry staff on procedures and equipment use
  • Prepare reports on laundry operations and productivity
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments as needed
