TEAM LEADER FLOOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in food service, restaurant operations, or a similar role
• Previous experience in training, coaching, or team leadership is an advantage
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all Pret Experience Days, ensuring all Pret paperwork and feedback sheets are completed and that all candidates have a positive experience
• Plan, train, and support all new Team Members throughout their 10-day training program
• Plan, coach, and support all Team Member Star (TM*) training
• Ensure that Baristas and Hot Chefs deliver Pret-perfect training and coaching within their specialist areas
• Provide regular feedback to the Shop Management Team on Team Members’ and TM Stars’ training progress and performance
• Ensure Team Members’ workbooks are followed accurately and reviewed:
• Daily during the 10-day training period
• Weekly during TM Star training
• Ensure the Big Scary Quiz (BSQ) is completed with a minimum score of 90% prior to graduation
• Recognize and reinforce positive behaviors by “catching people doing things right,” providing motivation, coaching, and constructive feedback
• Identify specific training needs and implement effective training, ongoing coaching, and development support for all Team Members
• Set up and maintain pink files for new starters and complete all required training documentation up to TM Star graduation
• Ensure all How-To cards are correctly used, maintained, and kept up to date
• Support and complete annual retraining requirements as required by Pret standards
