Safety Officer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Safety Officer in the oil & gas industry or petrochemical plants
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, safety practices, and industry standards
• Ability to collaborate easily with co-workers and work independently
• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills
• Relevant safety certifications are an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and management on safety matters
• Stop unsafe work and recommend corrective actions when necessary

Requirements:

• POEA E-Reg and POEA PEOS
• Certificate of Employment
• Must have valid passport
